Here we have some information about anti aging skin care. In
order to be sure of buying an effective antiaging skin cream,
you need to know what works and why. First, let's look at what
causes wrinkles in the first place. Then, we'll look at what can
be done about it, safely.
There are literally hundreds of anti aging skin care products on
the market, but finding one effective antiaging skin cream is
still difficult. Most of us shop in department stores. Without
some background information, we have only the advertising hype
to guide us. First let's talk about collagen.
There are actually 12 different types. Type one and three are
the most abundant in humans. The type that most anti aging skin
care crams contain is neither of those. It comes from cow skin
and rubbing it on your face is ineffective.
Collagen injections work by "fattening" up the lowest of the
skin's layers and "stretching" out the wrinkles. Many people are
allergic to that type of collagen. So, you have to have an
allergy test before you can get the injections. But,
collagen-containing antiaging skin cream labels do not warn of
the possible allergic reactions that may occur.
Over time, production of human collagen does diminish, but there
are some anti aging skin care ingredients that actually increase
the body's production of the fibers. You see collagens are
actually proteins woven into a complex mesh. This mesh
facilitates the skin's mechanical freedom, its fluidity of
movement. Typically collagen reaches its peak production around
the mid thirties and gradually declines into its poor wrinkled
structure from that point on.
But, a new antiaging skin cream has been clinically proven to
increase collagen production, by giving the body the proteins
that it needs to continue weaving and repairing the mesh. The
proteins are called keratin and hyaluronic acid. You don't want
just any keratin, though. You want "functional" keratin which is
created using a patented process that makes it readily available
to the cells on the outside of the body.
Anti aging skin care creams that contain hyaluronic acid don't
work either. But, there is a plant called wakame that inhibits
the enzymatic reaction that breaks down the protein, so levels
of the protein rise naturally with continued use. Once again,
this is clinically proven.
There are many antagonists that cause wrinkles and the other
signs of getting older that occur all over the body. Free
radicals are the primary villains. Their chemical composition
causes havoc to protein levels and skin-DNA. Outside influences
such as UV radiation from the sun and pollution in the air
increases free radical production in the cells.
A new idea in antiaging skin cream is to include a few
antioxidants, because they destroy free radicals. Oils
containing vitamin E have been recommended for the hair's and
skin's health for many years. But, other antioxidants are even
more effective.
COQ10 and the antioxidants in wakame are powerful ones. When
processed correctly for anti aging skin care creams, they can
penetrate through seven layers, destroying any free radicals
that they encounter along the way. Now, it seems that no one has
to look older, unless they want to.
